Description
The Autonics E20HB Series are Ø20 mm incremental rotary encoders with hollow shaft design, engineered for direct shaft mounting without couplings. By eliminating mechanical coupling components, the E20HB reduces installation time, alignment errors, and mechanical backlash, improving overall system reliability.
The series supports multiple resolutions, A/B/Z phase outputs, and NPN or PNP open collector output types, making it suitable for speed feedback, position detection, and direction control in compact automation equipment. With a wide power supply range (5–24 VDC) and lightweight construction, the E20HB is ideal for compact motors, conveyors, indexing mechanisms, packaging machines, and OEM assemblies where space efficiency and ease of installation are critical.
