Description
The Autonics E40HB Series are Ø40 mm incremental rotary encoders with a hollow shaft design, engineered for direct shaft mounting without the need for couplings or additional alignment components. This structure reduces mechanical backlash, simplifies installation, and improves long-term reliability in rotating machinery.
The E40HB series supports A/B/Z phase incremental outputs, a wide selection of resolutions, and NPN or PNP open collector output types, enabling accurate speed, direction, and position feedback. With a wide operating voltage range (5–24 VDC) and robust mechanical construction, these encoders are well suited for motors, conveyors, packaging equipment, textile machinery, and industrial OEM systems where space efficiency and mechanical stability are required.
