Description
The E3ZM-C Stainless Steel Photoelectric Sensor is an industry-leading, compact sensor engineered for oil-intensive, coolant-exposed, and washdown environments. Featuring a SUS316L stainless steel housing, the E3ZM-C delivers superior durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability beyond conventional metal sensors.
Its IP67 oil-resistant structure (tested to OMRON in-house standards) eliminates cover screws, removing potential liquid ingress points and reducing maintenance risk. Laser-marked model numbers ensure permanent readability for lifecycle management and spare part replacement.
The series supports through-beam, retro-reflective, diffuse-reflective, and BGS reflective sensing methods, including high-visibility orange LED models with up to 20 m sensing distance and 2 ms response time. With M12 twist-and-click pre-wired connectors, wiring effort is reduced while ensuring vibration-resistant connectivity.
Designed with OMRON’s miniaturization and modularization technologies, the E3ZM-C is the world’s smallest square stainless steel photoelectric sensor (per OMRON investigation), making it ideal for space-constrained, hygienic, and high-reliability automation applications.
